I’ve been watching Youtube clips from Powell Peralta’s Ban This for awhile now and finally broke down and got the DVD. As a kid growing up in the early 90s I can remember renting videos like Ban This, Propaganda, and H-Street’s Hocus Pocus at the local video store. Shortly after I obtained a third hand bootleg copy of Plan B’s Questionable. Right as begun pushing, street skateboarding went from slappies on painted curbs to switch kf back tails; all in the span of 2 years. This particular clip of Lance and Neil goofing is what skateboarding is to me, a good time. On top of all the insane vert footage and 80s style comedy bits Ban This also features both Frankie Hill and Ray Barbee’s legendary parts. Took a while, but I had to have this in my collection.
