I’m definitely scrapping the bottom of the barrel now. I’m gonna see how deep I can go. All I could think about during this entire movie was what Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams were doing at that very moment. This is the kind of movie you go and see with your folks or your grandparents even. It’s pretty safe, but offers up a few laughs here and there. The office cameos are stellar. There is a little back and forth with Robin Williams’ priest character and Wanda Sykes ‘ nurse character which is really good. They should have made that the movie. That fat dude from the office is killer. Whatever they are paying him it ain’t enough. He cracks me up everytime. I enjoyed it, another $1 well spent? Whew, I need to find something to do. I’m scared.

I went to get a haircut in my new neighborhood and met a stylist who just opened up her very own barbershop. She had inherited the lease from a gentlemen who ran the shop for 25 some years. The place is great all types of old kitschy trinkets here and there, shipwheels, antlers, things of that nature. She wanted to keep true to its roots while giving it a fresh look. I mentioned off hand that I designed logos and offered my services in exchange for a few haircuts. Thought I would share a few potential drafts.
