Here is my lone Bobby Puleo story. I met him and Justin Girard at a BBQ in Willyburg. I fanned out a little. Told Bobby I had that one Mad Circle deck with the yellow and turquoise. He couldn’t remember and didn’t really care. I told him that I had interned at Santa Cruz Skateboards for a bit and he got all worked up. Said he had love for SC growing up, but currently they were “sailing in a sea of garbage”. It was awesome to hear Bobby say quotable shit like that live. CJ did some work for him at Traffic. I actually played phone tag with Bobby when I dropped of some shit for CJ. He was real. I still think about how much style he has. Dude is was passionate about his shit. BP forever.
